MAHI! With a side of Wahoo

We finally had some beautiful weather here in Ocracoke this week, and the fishing was excellent. We went offshore several days and had good catches of wahoo & mahi each day. We stopped a couple of times to add some variety to the bag, and the bottom fish cooperated as well.

This is the time of the year I have a lot of groups fish with me so that they can fill their freezer up with fresh vacuum packed fish for the rest of the year. This week didn’t disappoint!

Inshore fishing has had really good red drum action, with a few black drum, cobia, and bluefish mixed in.
