July is HOT at Fish Ocracoke

The offshore fishing here in Ocracoke so far this month has been absolutely off the charts good. Don’t get me wrong, there is still a slow day mixed in here and there, but overall it has been the best we have seen in over a decade.

On our full day offshore trips its been big yellowfin tuna, mahi, blue marlin, sailfish, white marlin, grouper, tilefish, triggerfish… We have caught it all in the last two weeks.

We have also run a few nearshore half days with really nice families. They have produced a lot of bluefish, along with spanish mackerel, drum, and cobra.
