The “Free Ranger” is a 46′ custom built Buddy Cannady sportfisher. She is powered with a 2025 800HP John Deere diesel engine which provide a fast and dependable cruise.

This is an ideal boat for offshore charter fishing along the Outer Banks and Ocracoke Island.

Originally built by Buddy Cannady in Wanchese, NC, the Free Ranger is a prime example of the exceptional craftsmanship and seaworthiness of a Carolina built sportfisher. Since the original build the boat has undergone numerous upgrades, and is outfitted with all of the latest fishing accessories.

Inshore Fishing Boat – The Little Ranger – Jones Brothers 23′ Cape Fisherman

For inshore fishing, clamming, and offseason duck hunting, we utilize a 23′ Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman. Long recognized as one of the toughest and most dependable platforms built.

The extra shallow draft allows us to fish the grass flats and inland estuary areas of Ocracoke.
